My name is Kathryn Highfield and I am based in the North of England in the Lancashire countryside about half and hour outside Manchester. I live with my husband and my ragdoll cat Tilly.

I have always loved sewing and bears so thought I would try and combine the two and I have found I love creating these little characters.

 

 

 

 

The name Bear Patch Bears came about because each bear has a little patch somewhere on his or her body which is embroidered with the initials 'BPB' in the same colour as his or her nose. All Bear Patch Bears are all made of high quality materials...mohair, alpaca and plush. They have glass eyes and are filled with polyfibre and usually steel shot to give them a nice weight. They always come with either ribbons, necklaces or they can be dressed depending on a bears personality. The bears all come with their individual labels with their picture on and their name.
